I’ll be honest, my favorite part of Easter is making the baskets. Especially at this age where the kids don’t have an opinion on what they get. They’re just happy to get a surprise. What age do kids start wanting to get stuff like candy and anything that has to do with their favorite show/movie?
Anyway, below I put together a few picks for a baby Easter basket along with two toddler baskets. I try to not overload the baskets with junk that will pile up in the corner of our living room or sweets of any kind, at this age. I like to include things they will use this spring like sunglasses, hats, sandals maybe a bathing suit and so on.
I’m curious, what do you typically put in your Easter baskets? Do you go all out or keep it minimal? Let me know in the comments below!
Easter Basket for Baby

Pacifier | Bunny Sensory Toy | Carrot Toy | Wooden Stackers | Bunny Outfit | Easter Basket | Sun Hat | Plush Book | Bunny Teether | Sunglasses
For Owen’s Easter basket this year, I ended up getting the bunny crinkle toy. We also have the bunny basket and it is so cute! It has a bunny tail on the back of it. I feel like babies don’t need much since they don’t know what’s going on but it’s so hard to pass on all the festive toys!
Easter Basket for Toddlers

Initial Hat | JellyCat Bunny | Garbage Truck Toy | Bunny Shirt | Easter Basket | Construction Site Book | Rainboots | Chalk Eggs | Sunglasses
We have several Rey to Z baseball hats and love them! They are great quality and adorable on. Highly recommend! We also have the Construction Site Spring Delight book and its a fun festive read at night. Another favorite of our.

Initial Hat | JellyCat Bunny | Sand Toys | Floral Dress | Easter Basket | Easter Book | Rainboots | Wooden Eggs | Sunglasses
Obsessed with everything here! We have the silicone beach set which is a family favorite. We bring the toys to Tahoe with us. It comes with the net bag so it makes traveling with all the pieces super easy. We also love the net style bag as it helps keep a lot of the sand from coming home with us! Lastly, you gotta love a Jellycat stuffed animal! They make the cutest Easter basket filler item.
Choosing Your Basket
As for the baskets themselves, when the boys had their first Easter I splurged and bought the Pottery Barn easter baskets. It was a bit of an investment but I plan to use them every year for the rest of their lives. Yep, even as grown adults they will still get an Easter basket from me! I recommend going with a quality basket so you can reuse it and avoid buying a new one every year. Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel and Michaels all have great options.
